Originally named C.T. Huffman Grocery, Huffman Grocery has an extremely rich history in the town of Phillipsburg, MT. The building is listed on the national register of historic places by the Montana Historical Society. Built circa 1887, Huffman Grocery was the state’s oldest family-owned grocery store.

The most recent owner, Chad Petek, purchased the store in 2011. He’s been in the grocery business for over 20 years and has immediate family who also own grocery stores in surrounding towns. Chad has been in the town of Phillipsburg for 21 years and recently got married to his wife, who is also the Bakery & Deli manager at Huffman Grocery.
